EMBODIED CONSTELLATIONS

BEing With Complexity: Growing our Capacity through Constellations and Movement

August 17th, 10:00am-4:00pm
Location: WOMPA in Tulsa, 3306 Charles Page Blvd, Room 289

5 CEU’s available for LPC, LMFT, and LCSW

This workshop welcomes seasoned dancers and constellation participants and newcomers in both — no previous experience with either is necessary! We invite you to participate in experiential practices that guide us into self-awareness and connection with fellow participants in ways that honor our varied backgrounds, physical needs and expressions. Movement practices are interwoven with constellations work and aim to grow our capacities in navigating ongoing personal and global challenges. To stay present in today’s culture with all its challenges and to find our individual way as part of the collective, the skills of embodiment and listening – internally and also to the larger field, are useful.

This workshop, by its nature, supports the building of these skills. Please wear comfortable layers of clothing for movement and bring a water bottle, journal, and sneakers (the floor is concrete). Light lunch included.

Michelle Bias, Lynda Jacobs, and Maree ReMalia bring their unique approaches together in a co-facilitated experience that responds to our current moment.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

10:00am-11:15am | welcome & movement

11:15am-11:30am | break

11:30am-12:30pm | constellations overview

12:30pm-1:00pm | lunch

1:00pm-4:00pm | constellations sessions with movement and brief breaks interspersed
